Christine, Ect.

This is (going to be?) my humble little music blog. I don't dare compare to the masters, and I certainly would never claim to be omniscient. I only know that I love music. I love to talk about it, write about it, see it, and hear it. It makes me happier than sanity should allow. I know how much enjoyment I get out of reading music blogs, and hope that someone can find that feeling here amongst my thoughts and words. I want others to see what I see, hear what I hear, and feel what I feel. I see this as a forum for me to discuss not only what I’m listening to, but also shows that I’ve seen and what I’m looking forward to (music wise of course.) I’m currently on a mission to see as many shows as my geographic location will allow, before I (hopefully) flee the country for academic experiences elsewhere. That being said, this blog will contain a lot of show reviews, and I promise to do my best in regards to set-lists. However, I do tend to get caught up in the moment and as a result my normal diligence has been known to fail me. As of today,it is only 5 days until my next show (Wolf Parade at The Phoenix Concert Theater in Toronto) so expect information from that once my brain stops reeling and I can refocus. I do have some past shows to review (4 in the past month) so those may appear on here as well. I also hope to be able to provide mp3s or links to mp3s but since my legalese is rather poor and being sued is not on my bucket list, it may take me a while to figure that all out. I also hope to post videos and other good stuff as well but my technological skills are as good as my legalese so I’m not making any promises. Now that that is out of the way, let’s talk music shall we.

Currently loving: Bear Hands

Song of the day: “Walkabout”- Atlas Sound featuring Noah Lennox (I recently saw the Spoon/Deerhunter show is Toronto and have been in a Bradford Cox kind of mood ever since)

Next show: 4-7 Wolf Parade, We are Wolves Phoenix Concert Theater, Toronto On
